Three Facial Serums I Can't Live Without.

Choosing the right serum to use is important. It targets specific concerns so your choice should be based on your skin type, the issue you are trying to correct or prevent and the ingredients found in them to combat those issues. I have used serums, to hydrate my skin, fade dark spots, stop breakouts and get a glowing complexion. Serums are designed to penetrate into your skin to treat the various skin conditions. I can't live without my serums!

Serum is a very important step in my skincare routine. I believe this concentrated product filled with so much goodness turns my skin from good to great, and is worth investing in. Sometimes they can be pricey but it is so worth it.

I have 3 go-to serums that I cant live without, one is for hydrating, one combats acne and helps prevent with fine lines and wrinkles and the other one is my all time favorite which is for evening skin tone to reveal a more radiant complexion.

Hyaluronic acid serum from Radha Beauty

This serum is recommended for intense hydration. This is a fast acting serum that instantly promotes healthy collagen to plump my skin. When I use this serum, my skin just looked like it drank 5 cups of water... basically my skin looks really healthy the next day. I use this serum when acne products  dry out my skin, the following morning after wearing lots of makeup, and when my face needs a boost in hydration. This serum is fast and active.

Mario Badescu Vitamin C serum.

Now anyone who follows me on social media and reads my blog know how much I love this glow enhancing serum. This serum rejuvenates my skin by brightening my complexion, evens out my skin tone and reduces & prevents fine lines and wrinkles. my skin is a lot firmer and much more radiant after I religiously started applying this serum, every other day. This serum is a must have and the concentration is potent and works fast.

TruSkin Natural TeaTree Super Serum

This serum is magic in a bottle. It has all the important ingredients plus more to give an amazing skin.  It has Vitamin C, Retinol, Salicylic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid plus more. I use this serum to fight acne to give a smoother face. The tea tree oil in it helps to combat the acne causing bacteria. I remember ordering this serum just to try it because the Radha Beauty TeaTrea oil serum wasn't available, and I was blown by he results I was seeing and now it’s a staple in my skincare cabinet. If you have acne and want to get rid of it, add a few drops on your face, massage it on and let the product work its magic through out the day and at night.

To get the best of your serum, I advise to use it on a clean cleansed face after you have used your toner and before moisturizing. Also, when you apply your serum, wait 5- 10 minutes before applying the next product, so that the serum can penetrate into the skin and perform its magic. I love these 3 serums and I have made them a staple in my skincare routine.

    1. Yes you can layer serums! Use the vitamin C first let it soak in to your skin (3-4 min) then use the hydrating serum and let is sink in before adding moisturizer.
